Happening this Wednesday at 7pm!
Come join us for an all-important talk on the all-important topic of navigating Social Media and Digital Literacy. We will provide the refreshments; Brett will provide the valuable insight, and the books for sale. (Parenting: Navigating Everything - $40 per copy; cash, debit, and credit will all be accepted).
Please share this with anyone who has teens or preteens, works with teens or preteens, has a heart for teens or preteens, etc. We hope to see you there! We are pleased to be welcoming guest speaker Brett Ullman to the south shore on the night of Wednesday, March 11 for an information night on navigating the world of Social and Digital Media.
Brett has navigated the world of youth culture, media, and mental health for over 25 years, and has spoken on these issues in various venues across North America during that time. People have appreciated his well-researched, wise, and practical approach to today's issues and the way he has captured the attention of audiences of all ages. This talk will aim to provide insight on how media consumption has affected our own lives and those of our kids and teens, while offering practical steps on how to use media for good while decreasing its negative effects.
Parents, youth, youth workers, church-goers, extended families, etc. - ALL are invited to join in on this important conversation. Coffee and refreshments will be served prior to the start of our evening. For more information on this information night, please reach out to Rev. Keith Blair (keith@bridgewaterbaptist.com), contact our church office, and/or visit Brett's website: brettullman.com. We hope to see you there!
