Enjoyed your message and service today may the Lord be with Us all!

It is a great honour to be hosting this year's Ruston Lecture here at Bridgewater Baptist on the afternoon of June 1, 2024. The topic of MAiD is so important for all of us to be talking about and we will be blessed by the perspective of two incredible chaplains Rev. Sarah Scott and Rev. Joe Green. The gathering starts with a luncheon at noon, followed by a devotion, lecture and discussion. All are welcome! ... See MoreSee Less

I consider it a small miracle just to be free to talk about it! Thanks so much to Canadian Association of Baptist Freedoms for the invite! Joe and I have been talking and meeting together and already have so many different perspectives, a variety of lived experiences and more questions. Such an important topic - and so incredible that we have the kindness and generosity of space just to talk about it openly as a group. The days of “don’t ask don’t tell don’t tell the minister” are so 1900’s.

That’s fantastic news!

What the hell ??

Since when does the church believe in assisted suicide and promote it...they are also having displays and info at their hall about assisted suicide and other things :( Apparently they are not part of most of the baptist churches but part of Canadian Association for Baptist Freedoms
