WINTER FUN DAY. Join us MARCH 17 for a free skate at the LCLC from 3:00 to 3:50, and then extra fun and treats back here at the church from 4:00 to 5:00. We will have some board games to play, but if you’ve been wondering about all the excitement around pickleball, this might be a good time for you to come try it out! You can take advantage of one or both parts of the afternoon. We encourage the whole community to come, so invite a friend or neighbour too! (Some skates and helmets are available for complimentary use at the LCLC. Helmets are mandatory for kids 12 and under). Sunday Evening Documentary Series. Barss Corner Baptist Church, 919 Barss Corner Road on Sunday, March 17  at 7:00 pm. “Facing Darkness” is the incredible and miraculous story of Samaritan’s Purse doctor, Kent Brantley in the face of the Ebola pandemic of 2014. And on April 7th at 7:00 pm, “Tortured for Christ“, the cinematic retelling of the love and forgiveness lived out by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand during 14 years of imprisonment and torture for his faith. Due to the subject matter, these movies are not recommended for those under 14.

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. Saturday, March 23rd at Central United Church Hall in Lunenburg. Sitting times are at 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm & 6:30 pm. The meal will consist of spaghetti with your choice of 2 types of sauce, garlic bread, optional Caesar salad and tea/coffee or juice. Tickets are available at Kinley’s PharmaChoice, Mike’s Quik Way or Kinburn Pharmasave. Adults $10.00 and Children $5.00.

Gospel Night. Join us for a night of Gospel Singing, featuring local talent on March 24th at 7:00 pm at The Salvation Army, 116 Pleasant Street in Bridgewater. Refreshments will be served. Freewill Offering.

Jesus to the Nations 2019 is on March 29th, 30th & 31st at Mount Saint Vincent (Seton Centre) in Halifax, NS. Please see the poster at the Information Centre for complete details.

The Keenager’s Luncheon is on Saturday, March 30th at noon in the Drumlin Hills dining room. Minestrone soup and a ham & cheese sandwich will be served for lunch with carrot cake for dessert. This month’s speaker is Mrs. Susan Bristo and music by Cassandra Oakes. Please see the sign-up sheet in the foyer.

NEXT Conference. Saturday, April 6th. Children’s Ministry leaders or volunteers (Senior High to adult), we invite you to register for a one day conference in Halifax, designed to encourage and equip you for more effective ministry. The cost is $40 per person including lunch, but because we see such value in people going, we will offset some or all of the cost (depending on how many are interested). For more information please refer to the sign-up sheet in the foyer.

Save the date. Our Association Spring Rally will be Sunday, April 28th, at Bridgewater Baptist Church. The evening will start with a potluck supper at 5:00 pm and our rally will begin at 6:00 pm. Our guest speaker is Dr. Bob Knowles from Crandall University.

A Church Yard Sale is planned for Please Note Date Change from May 18th to June 1st. It’s never too early to start your spring cleaning. Please begin to collect items to donate and bring them to the church on May 31st. If you need to have anything picked up or need more information, please contact Carl Selig at 902-543-5375.
