Shuffleboard – there is no shuffleboard this Monday September 3rd.
Tuesday Morning Pickleball will be starting up again on September 11th at 10 am – 11:30 am.  This is open to everyone, male and female, all skill levels.  If you are interested in trying Pickleball please come on Tuesday mornings when you will be introduced individually to the basics of the game and given instruction while playing.  Come out and try it.  Paddles and balls are provided, just bring inside sneakers.

Eyeglasses – We no longer have a drop off box for used eyeglasses. Please consider checking with your local eye care centre to see if they have or can recommend a location for you to drop off your used glasses.

Zumba Gold will be happening Fridays at 9:00 am starting September 7th here in the gym. Bridgewater Baptist and Nova Scotia Health Authority are partnering to bring you a chance to socialize and experience exercise in disguise. Zumba Gold, “Fit for the young at heart”, is a low impact dance fitness party that improves flexibility, balance, strength, and cardiovascular fitness. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. The Men of the Deeps will be performing at Central United Church in Lunenburg on Saturday September 8th at 7:00 pm. For further details on this event, please see the poster at the Information Centre.
The Annual Maritime Motorcycle Toy Run in support of The Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper / Toy Run, is happening on Saturday, September 8th. The bikers are expected to be at the Salvation Army Thrift Store between 1:30 and 2:00 pm. Refreshments will be served.
Church Family Picnic is coming up on Sunday September 9th from 2:30 – 6:00 pm.  Join us for fun, games and food at Long Lake Camp for our annual church family picnic.  We will be having a potluck meal, so please remember to bring a favourite dish, salad or dessert to share. Hot chocolate, water and coffee will be provided.  Please remember your dishes and a lawn chair.  We look forward to seeing you there!  In case of rain we will hold it in the church gym.
Paul Colman Concert – Please join us for a free concert by Grammy-Nominated, singer/songwriter/entertainer, Paul Colman (formerly of The Newsboys)!   It all happens at 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 9th at Bridgewater Baptist Church.   A love offering will be taken in support of Harvest House Atlantic, to minister to those in the grips of homelessness and addiction.
Keenager’s Luncheon – We are beginning our fall luncheons starting on Saturday, September 29th at 12:00 pm at Drumlin Hills.  This month’s Speaker is David Collins–Carter, former radio broadcaster.  Music is being provided by Allan & Deborah Bent. The sign-up sheet is in the foyer.
